Arterra Wines, nestled in the wooded hills of Delaplane, Virginia, offers a unique fusion of artisan winemaking and natural beauty. Established in 2015 by winemaker Jason Murray and artist Sandy Gray-Murray, the winery emphasizes minimal intervention techniques, including native yeast fermentations and the use of neutral oak, to craft authentic Virginia-style wines that reflect the region’s terroir . Visitors can enjoy seated tastings of varietals like Petit Verdot, Tannat, and Chardonnay, while also exploring the Hawkmoth Arts gallery, which showcases Sandy’s nature-inspired artworks, creating an immersive experience that celebrates both viticulture and visual art.

Cobbler Mountain Winery & Cidery, home of The Little Winery That Could, is a place of wonder where fairies live in poplar trees, children run barefoot to Thumb Run Creek, and stories are shared around the Grand Fire Circle. Discovered in 1959 by Grandfather McCarthy, a dreamer and 1960s human rights activist. Cobbler Mountain is rich with history, nature, and imagination passed down through generations. Come hike the trails, sip handcrafted wines and ciders, and find a little magic beneath the old apple tree. Furry friends and well-mannered children are always welcome to picnic on the hillside, explore the mountain, and splash in the creek.

Three Fox is a spacious, family- and dog-friendly winery and brewery. Established in 2002 and reimagined in 2020, we aim to blur the lines between beer and wine, innovating and cultivating new fermentation styles while having a lot of fun along the way.
Sitting on 50 acres of rolling countryside in the middle of Virginia’s hunt country, Three Fox offer’s meadows for picnics and spectacular views all around. Light fare is available for our guests, and our meadow along the banks of historic Crooked Run provides a place to enjoy wine amongst nature.
Beyond providing memorable visits, we are committed to making a positive impact. We strive to lead Virginian vineyard and brewery families in giving back to causes that better our world and communities.
